Of course, an insurance policy is only as good as the payout, and we recently had an excellent experience with a claim which resulted in a check electronically deposited into our Mexico bank account in less than 10 business days from my first phone call to the company. Our Mexican Insurance agent, walked us through everything.
But Novamar personnel fought for me with an insurance company, and their insurance adjuster, BEFORE I WAS EVEN THEIR CUSTOMER! My former broker refused to go to bat for me when the insurance adjuster's company denied my claims. Needless to say I have moved that homeowners policy and my healthcare policy, and my two auto policies to Novamar. They EARNED my business and they will earn yours!

Thank you, Pablo, for your efforts to get more information on why IMG is asking us to pay more than the deductible. As you can see, they don't give direct responses to questions, which is frustrating. They don't even mention what information they are waiting for. For example, might there still be an adjustment covering more of the bill?
Anyway, don't worry about it. I'm just going to pay the sum they are asking. There's been no change in that amount for over a year.

I am a Novamar client and have recently experienced devastation to our home in Conchas Chinas related to the hurricane that took place in October 2023. Thankfully we had Novamar as our broker who assisted us to insure we had the proper amount of coverage to address our needs in an event like this. While having an insurance policy in place is one thing, it doesn't mean anything unless the broker and insurance provider can live up to their promise on coverage.
In our case we were very fortunate to have Scarlett Martinez from Novamar working diligently on our behalf with our insurance provider GMX to expedite and come to a fair resolution on our claim in a reasonable timeframe. Scarlett's follow-up and professionalism made the experience far less stressful than it would have been otherwise.
