OUR BRAND STORY

The Novamar name stems from a Latin derivative meaning "New" and "Sea or Ocean," to pay homage to Novamar’s never ending efforts to improve as a company, and Novamar staff’s collective yachting and marine insurance background. Today Novamar’s experience is unmatched in the industry.

The Novamar symbol derives its meaning from the ancient Aztec culture among others.

The symbol represents the action of a person dropping a pebble into the water. It is meant to show that every action reverberates outward and affects others whether we are aware of it or not.

The tiny dots around the ripples represent the individual people affected by the action, who then in turn become the center point for their own actions which ripple outward.

The point is for all of us at Novamar to be aware that our professional and personal actions have positive and negative influences on people for many years.
